Mauritius is a stunning sub tropical island with breathtaking mountain ranges, turquoise lagoons and miles of white sandy beaches. Inland there are many varying landscapes from the lush tropical endemic forests, to the sugarcane fields, grassy savannah style plains, salt pans, rivers and waterfalls.

The towns all vary in development from the small sleepy coastal fishing villages to the hustle and bustle of the developing towns, the largest of which is the harbour capital, Port Louis. All have a wonderful mix of old and new, modern and colonial and a multitude of different styles reflecting the multi cultural society of Mauritius.
